Property Description
Our farm, ‘Hidden Valley’, is at around 750 metres altitude with a variable annual rainfall averaging about 760 mm per annum. The farm is undulating to hilly, with fertile valleys and lighter soils on the hills. Soils are derived from granite and shale. Pastures are both native and introduced species. Temperatures can drop below zero in winter. These conditions favour hardy cattle, so those we sell for breeding or fattening do well under most conditions.
